Over the past 25 years we have designed equipment for GB Rail, US Rail, Queensland Rail, British Gypsum, Veolia, BP, FMG, Swire, Caltex, Shell, MSC, Exsif, to name a few.
One of our most successful designs was the first 40ft half high T11 Tank Container as used by US Rail. This allowed for 3 units at 26000 ltrs to be stacked on a rail wagon as opposed to only 2 by 26000 ltr 20 ft units. Therefore a gain of 33% more carried per loading.

Our 26000 ltr T7 Transport Tanks are specifically design for Intermodal movements of Diesel, Petrol Gasoline and a Jet A1 version.
The design negates the need for insulation and is therefore more cost effective.
These tanks are ideal for island movements of bulk fuels where a fleet of containers would run fuels to the island or remote location on a rotation. The logistic negates large feul storage facilities.
By having 1/3 of your fleet being filled, 1/3 being shipped and 1/3 stacked at destination ready to use only then a small self bunded day tank (shown left) with fuel dispensing is required.
Our systems serve mining and vehicle fleets. Our customers include FMG (Fortesque) whom have a 100 ton facility installed and working for 12 years now.
Unlike other ambient pressure offerings in the market our storage tanks have a internal pressure rating of 0.8 bar. Unlike others the internal all curved construction makes for easy full cleaning.

Fish farming or harvesting has become a major enterprise in many parts of the world. Bulk handing keeps the fish fresh and improve productivity.
Working closely with Marine Harvest in Scotland, now MOWI we developed a tank container in 20ft and 25ft swap format that included ice recirculation systems and fish handling that minimized damage to the fish. Marine Harvest found advantage in the logistical cost and keeping the Salmon “in ice” as opposed to “on ice” meant the fish was kept as fresh as possible. This meant the flesh hits the shelves with better color than conventional “on ice” systems.
Special attention was given to the 316L stainless steel pipework system and only the best Fortvale Valves were used.
These Tank containers are another example of Tectainers process ability.

Armech made a name for itself in the 1990’s designing and building tanks that could carry up to 30% more in the same shipping space as a 20ft standard shipping slot.
Of course, 25ft and 30ft swap body tanks have met the market to carry more but when 20ft is the size limit the Multitainer fits the purpose well.
The savings came straight off the bottom line of major leasing companies’ financials.
Food generally similar in weight water so a light tank and frame construction is all important. Nowadays as road capacities in many regions have increased more carriers can take advantage of the extra volume per movement.

Introducing Tectainer T-Kubes
Unique by design our IBC rated T-Kubes for onshore and offshore DNV 2.71 operations. Our T-Kube are compact, robust and come with special linings, therefore cleanable.
The patented design allows for 20 x 1000 ltr IBC’s to be loaded into a standard 20ft shipping container. Easy to unload and then distribute. Easy collection and returns.

They are ideal for foodstuffs, refueling, oil supply to machinery and remote logistics including the loading to ships.
Their compact design and strong construction allows for fork lifting and top lifting. They can have built in dispensing, level indication and double closure valves. Even filtration for Jet A1 operations.
Fleets of these units currently supply ships for oil change outs in the Harbour of Shanghai for the Chevron-Texaco Group (Caltex).

Unique to Tectainer is our ability to supply tanks in Carbon steel and Stainless Steel in a box. Facilities built for Martin Colins UK, Caltex Asia and Lukoil Romania met the customers’ requirements cost effectively.
The tanks can be loose for removing from the box to create vertical storage facilities or built into the box as a system partially or fully ready to go.
We are happy to discuss any tank needs that can be shipped in a box.
For vertical tanks the dimensions should no more than be 2.35 mtrs x 12 mtrs max. Including any footings.
